BaBu is a digital credit-record management and productivity product developed and operated by MizTech, a technology business operating under JMS Consultancy, a partnership firm. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with BaBu.
Information we collect
We may collect Early Access applicant information, including your name, business name, mobile number, business type, location, current credit method, approximate number of credit customers, WhatsApp-support preference and messages you choose to provide. If you use BaBu when it becomes available, we may also process account information, business information and customer or credit records that you enter. We may collect technical and service data reasonably required to operate, secure and support the service.
How we use information
We use information to review Early Access applications, communicate with applicants and users, provide onboarding and support, operate and improve BaBu, respond to requests, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations where applicable.
Customer and credit records
Users are responsible for the information they enter into BaBu, including customer and credit records. You must ensure that you have a lawful basis and any consent required to collect, use and share that information with BaBu.
Service providers
We may use service providers to host BaBu and process Early Access applications. The current Early Access workflow is intended to use Vercel for website hosting and server-side form handling, and Airtable for Early Access lead management. We may also use Google Fonts to display website typography. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, to meet legal requirements or to resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational practices appropriate to the nature of the service, but no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your request and may retain limited information where required or permitted by law.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as BaBu develops or our practices change. The effective date above will indicate when the policy was last revised.
